Letting agents in Sandridge.
Sandridge is our nearest village, under two miles up the road from our office on The Quadrant. It’s small, and it has Heartwood Forest right beside it, which makes it quite a different proposition from a home in the city.

Letting your Sandridge home
A village this size has a small pool of rental homes, so there’s less to compare yours with. That makes valuation harder, and it’s a good reason to be wary of anyone who quotes a figure without coming to look. We’ll compare your home with lets in the surrounding area, then explain how we reached the number.
Being so close also helps in practical ways. Our office is about five minutes away by car, which makes inspections and viewings simple. See how our two services compare, or read every fee before you call.

Renting in Sandridge
Heartwood Forest is the big draw. It’s a Woodland Trust site made up of ancient woods, meadows, an orchard and an arboretum, and it has way-marked trails and a free car park. The village itself has pubs, a shop, St Leonard’s Church and a village hall.
Be realistic about the car, though. There’s no station, so most people will drive or catch the bus into St Albans. It’s worth trying your commute before you sign.
Getting around
The B651 runs through the village towards St Albans one way and Wheathampstead the other. St Albans City station is the nearest for Thameslink services, with the fastest trains reaching St Pancras in around 20 minutes.
Schools
Sandridge School is the village primary, on Woodcock Hill. Secondary children usually travel, often towards St Albans, so check Hertfordshire’s admissions rules and Ofsted’s latest reports if schools are part of your decision.
Questions we get about Sandridge
Will my home rent for the same as one in St Albans?
Not necessarily. A village setting and a garden can add appeal, while having no station can narrow the pool of tenants. We’ll give you a figure for your actual home.
Is the village a good fit for tenants without a car?
It can work with the bus, but it suits drivers better. We’ll say that up front, because a tenant who’s happy with the location tends to be easier for everyone.
How close are you for a valuation?
About five minutes by car from The Quadrant. Call 01727 761816 and we’ll arrange a time.
